I had the fortune of being a second shooter at AJ’s and Mike’s wedding. The hotel where the girls and boys were getting ready had all the right conditions for amazing photographs – clean playful wallpaper, low ceilings, bright windows, and fun people in love. And lots of time to shoot!

The getting ready time was quiet an experience. AJ was laughing, making faces, speaking with a British accent, and pretending to freak out. She was a joy to be around and put everyone at ease.

This was the first time I met Mike, and he seemed to me a kind of guy everyone of his friends would take a bullet for. A big smile and a big heart.

I spent most of my time on the balcony, recording the bird’s eye view of the event. The pastor, who knew Mike since he was a little boy could not say enough about him and contributed greatly to all the love already in the air.

AJ sang to Mike. She has a great voice! But apparently not everyone was entertained.

There was no drinking (or dancing) at this wedding, but the lemonade sure looked good!

And one more of the lovely bride.
