Max & Alexis in a Tilt Shift World

Written by Door51 Photography on Aug 26 2009 | Creative Portrait, Engagement Session

Our lovely friends Max & Alexis came over and brought a new lens for me to play with. The incredible TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II. Brand new, this lens is worth a small fortune, but you can rent it from BorrowLenses.com for just a fraction of the cost. In fact, if you happen to be into photography, I highly recommend you spend some time with it!

It is not an easy lens to master, so don’t judge me to harshly on the following set. It was, after all, my first attempt.

Portraits of Kelly

Written by Door51 Photography on Jul 20 2009 | Creative Portrait

Kelly Vincelette is a Sales Account Manager at a local office of the North America Title company. She came to us looking for photography she could use in various marketing materials, and a few just for herself. We got together in the morning and took advantage of the beautifully soft, even light.

Art Canvas Magic

Written by Door51 Photography on May 30 2009 | Creative Portrait

A decade ago, before photography took a strong hold of my life, I had another passion – Digital Art. Hours of experimentation in Photoshop left me with countless winged beings, textured faces, surreal sceneries, and many other collaged images. From time to time I return to my roots and let imagination flow. Last night I created what will become a three art canvas set, all available for sale. I’d like to share them with you and would love to hear your opinion.
